Dr. F.T. Haner, founder and Honorary Chairman, pioneered research in assessing and predicting future conditions worldwide. Mr. Saruhan Hatipoglu re-joined BERI in 2004. He is currently the CEO of the company.
BERI has two permanent panels of experts that provide country ratings and qualitative observations. One panel judges political conditions in countries, and the other offers perspective on the operating environment. BERI does not reveal the names of its analysts, clients, or panel members. This retains objectivity in the analyses and forecast.
